Lanterns & Luminaries
For the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s midnight ride, Old North Illuminated contracted MMEE to elevate their signature Lanterns & Luminaries event into a prestigious milestone celebration.
We were tasked with honoring a deep historical narrative while delivering a modern, multi-tiered guest experience for sponsors, honorees, and the community. Our team managed the intricate flow of the day, beginning with a private sponsor breakfast in the historic gardens, followed by a formal program featuring a dramatic reading of "Paul Revere’s Ride" and remarks from legendary filmmaker Ken Burns.
From coordinating the symbolic lantern lighting and a horse ride through the busy North End to managing AV production and hospitality, we ensured seamless transitions between the awards ceremony and reception. The result was a polished, emotionally resonant event that balanced 18th-century history with active citizenship, reinforcing Old North’s mission for a national audience.
