FamilyAid Ribbon Cutting

We were proud to partner with FamilyAid Boston to execute the historic ribbon cutting of the first state-of-the-art permanent housing facility for the unhoused community in the MetroWest area.

This high-stakes event required navigating several complexities, including managing local neighborhood sensitivities, launching a brand-new facility for 120 VIP guests, and executing a flawless production in the middle of a New England winter. To ensure a secure and welcoming environment, we coordinated a comprehensive suite of services, from police details and shuttle logistics to professional AV and floral decor.

We designed a strategic guest flow that guided attendees through an immersive three-floor tour, a formal program, and the ceremonial ribbon cutting. The result was a meaningful, highly organized celebration that honored the donors and visionaries behind this vital community resource.

SERVICES PROVIDED:

  • Sensitive Event Strategy & Security Coordination: Managing high-profile logistics and police details to ensure a safe, respectful environment for a sensitive community opening.

  • Comprehensive Vendor Management: Sourcing and overseeing a full production team, including catering, AV, plant decor, and specialized shuttle services.

  • Complex Guest Flow & Facility Navigation: Designing and managing a multi-floor tour route and program schedule for 120 VIP guests within a newly constructed space.

  • Winter Weather Logistics: Executing all outdoor-to-indoor transitions and shuttle coordination to maintain guest comfort during extreme seasonal conditions.

  • VIP & Donor Experience Design: Curating a high-touch program featuring formal presentations, catered receptions, and custom edible takeaways.

  • On-Site Operational Oversight: Providing end-to-end management of timelines and vendor load-ins to ensure the facility’s first major event was a success.
