Mayor’s Office of Arts & Culture

City of Boston

Partnering with the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture (MOAC), we serve as the lead producer for this transformative city-wide initiative spanning 2025 and 2026.

This suite of events and activations is designed to enhance Boston’s public spaces through equitable access to the arts. Our role involves managing a rigorous two-year production calendar, including seven large-scale public conversations on the historic Boston Common, a series of twelve Artist Talks, and annual milestone celebrations.

Working at the intersection of city government, local artists, and the public, we ensure that every activation is free, accessible, and mission-aligned. From navigating city permitting to managing the technical requirements of outdoor performances, we provide the operational backbone that allows these vital cultural conversations to thrive in the public square.

SERVICES PROVIDED:

  • Multi-Year Production Management: Oversight of a comprehensive two-year event calendar involving 20+ distinct public activations and celebrations.

  • Public Space Permitting & Logistics: Navigating complex city requirements for large-scale gatherings in high-profile locations like the Boston Common.

  • Full-Scale Vendor Procurement: Sourcing and managing specialized teams for photography, videography, lighting, and high-quality outdoor AV systems.

  • Inclusive Site Design: Planning and executing accessible seating and infrastructure to ensure "equitable access" for all members of the Boston community.

  • Strategic Partner Collaboration: Acting as the central liaison between city agencies, artists, consultants, and community stakeholders.

  • End-to-End Operational Execution: Managing everything from initial contingency planning and food/beverage logistics to post-production closure and impact reporting.
